The rifle has a polished 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel that improves range and accuracy. It features a full-length 20mm top Picatinny rail for mounting optics, lights, lasers, and PEQ boxes. The free-float 10-inch Picatinny/Weaver nylon polymer rail system allows for the attachment of additional accessories.
The Gen 3 rifle has an upgraded flip-up front and rear iron sight with a quick-deploy release. The retractable stock can be adjusted to suit any battle situation. The finger-grooved magwell offers a secondary grip when handling the gun.
Internally, the Gen 3 features a reinforced metal Gen-2 gearbox with ultra-smooth 8mm ball bearings, an 18:1 steel gear set, a steel-toothed polycarbonate piston, a bearing spring guide, a rotary hop-up, and a 19,000 RPM high-torque motor for consistent performance. The full polymer AEG construction is high-strength and lightweight, yet extremely durable.
The rifle comes with a programmable electronic trigger unit from Zion Arms, allowing the user to select various burst modes. It is equipped with a Deans connector, which saves space for higher-capacity batteries.
The Gen 3 is shipped with a low-FPS spring, allowing the user to easily swap the spring using Lancer Tactical's quick-change system. The rifle comes with a 130-round high-speed mid-capacity magazine and a clearing rod.
