When you first receive your new battery pack, fully recharge it. Avoid over-discharging the battery by stopping usage when you notice a decline in performance. Equally, do not over-charge the battery - remove it from the charger once recharging is complete. Heat is detrimental to battery life, so refrain from charging or discharging the battery when it is hot. Always allow the batteries to cool down to room temperature before using or charging them. To prevent over-discharge, recharge the battery after each use, and store it with a full charge. Store the battery in a dry, cool place, and never expose it to heat or direct sunlight. If the battery will be unused for an extended period, recharge it once every 6 months.

IMPORTANT WARNING: DO NOT CHARGE LiPO BATTERIES. If the label on your battery indicates it is a LiPO, Li-Po, Li-Polymer, Li-ion, or Lithium-Ion type, DO NOT CHARGE IT. Caution: LiPO battery packs may have two sets of leads/connectors - do not charge if identified as LiPO. Failure to heed these warnings may result in fire or personal injury.
